[For Hosts/Solo Stakers] Types Of Polypore Scams You Should Know

Hey guys NoDuck here ,
this guide is mainly for newer and less experienced host and also bettors who do solo stakes from time to time.
I've lost at least 350m+ due to scams and not paying attention to detail and falling for the same scams.
Im gonna list down some of the common scams, and hopefully enlighten you.
P.S. Sorry for bad paint edits in some of the pictures Razz

First of all before hosting, you should check the most important things.
1) Have a charged polypore staff, just dump it if its gonna deplete soon and get a fresh af one. Razz

2) Polypore Strike spell turned on. Some forget to turn this on after hopping from a non-members world.

1) Alphanumeric Scam
"OMFG HE SHOWED 28 VIALS HOW DID I GET SCAMMED???!!!"
The caller will usually have two accounts both having similar names with slight tweaks.
Some examples are swapping
"i" with "l", "m" with "rn" , "o" with "0" , etc.

2) With/Wishes Scam
How?
The caller will also have two accounts in this method. But one of it has an extra "with" at the front of their name or "wishes" to the back of their names.

3) Inventory Scam
How?
The caller will place
24/27 vials - which you will not be able to take notice of if he/she accepts the challenge quickly.
28 Polypore staff - Caller already has a vengeful kiteshield equipped and will swap it when he enters the arena.
Gold Pieces + 27 Vials - Gold pieces is placed from his pouch , thus you would think he has 28 inventory slot used up.
What he actually have is a vengeful kiteshield and 27 vials. So, decline him even if he puts up 2147m and 27 vials.
(You might think "oh wow, max stack = legit , nope , he's showing you how much he made by letting other victims taste a little bit of vengeance)

4) Settings Scam
How?
The caller will fiddle with the settings , example turn helmet on, leg on , enable summoning , or also unselect other options.
This picture shown should be set as your favourite for polypore staking and if the caller tries to make changes.
just decline and find a new caller as he is most likely trying to scam you.

What you should do when someone trades and challenges you is not to accept using the trade box.
But instead right click the person and click Trade and then right click the same person and Challenge.
If you see two person stacking with similar names , you know whats up Mad

Immediately add scammers to ignore list that way you reduce your chances of getting scammed.

If i have missed out any other scams, please feel free to add on to this guide.
Also, it won't hurt to double check just for that 10-15 seconds instead of getting scammed.
